6 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Marrakech

Tour Itinerary
We will start our trip from your hotel & riad in Marrakech, and drive you to Ouarzazate through the dramatic Tizi n'Tichka, the topmost major mountain pass in Africa(2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciating the beauty of the terrain through Berber townlets. Arriving at the notorious Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest one in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 where; we will have lunch before we continue to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, “ the Hollywood of Africa ” and along the( Road of the thousand Kasbahs), passing by Kalaat Mgouna, “ the rose’s vale ” known for the product of rose water roses and its periodic festival (May), before arriving at Dades Gorge. Overnight at Hotel/ Riad.
After breakfast, we’ll drive through the valley to see the fantastic gemstone formation and take a break in one of the nice spots along the couloir. Leaving the Dades Valley towards Tinghir and the Todra Valley, we will see the panoramic views of the old Berber villages with their vineyards overlooking the valley. Arriving at the Todgha Gorge, you’ll walk under a high red cliff rising to 300m at its narrowest point. Continuing to Erfoud and Rissani, lunch will be on the way subsequently, and we’ll leave for the Sahara Desert of Merzouga on our appearance, you will be served a hot mug of mint tea, also you will be prepared for your camel stint, After a traditional dinner under the stars, we will set up Berber canopies for our night in the desert.
After breakfast, we will drive you deep into the Sahara Desert region. We'll make a trip around the desert dunes, where you'll have the chance to see the nomads’ way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We'll visit the ‘ black townlet ’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We'll have a classic Berber Pizza for lunch in the old capital of Rissani. After lunch, you can visit the traditional sites. After that, we will return to the Hotel to be ready for departure on the camels. As the evening over the desert dunes will ride the camels for 90 minutes to the desert camp. We'll have a traditional Moroccan food regale and succulent mint tea while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing desert. We'll spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.
Wake over early morning to watch the beautiful sunrise, we ride the camels back to the Hotel, and after taking a shower and a conventional breakfast, we’ll start our Sahara tour back to Fes. Through the spectacular decor of the ravines and gaps. In Ziz valley, which punctuates the geography with its brilliant green palms and ancient Kasbahs, and passing by the most extensive cedar timber in Morocc,o where you will have a break to meet some wild monkey,s continuing via Ifrane( Switzerland of morocco) stopping for a picture or coffee before arriving in the afternoon to Fes where we’ll spend the night.
We’ll start the day exploring the oldest city in Morocco, snaking through its alleys and narrow streets. Fes consists of three different parts. Fes el Bali (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is the oldest of the three with more than 9000 narrow streets and alleys fortified by a large wall, Fes-Jdid “new Fez” (home of the Jewish quarter), and the “Ville Nouvelle”, the newest sector of Fez constructed during the French occupation. Afterward the day, we’ll drive you to the capital city, which is Rabat, and then to Casablanca. We will also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Behind lunch, you’ll visit many different cooperatives and then experience a fantastic panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes before going to Casablanca, where we’ll spend the night.
On your last day with us, you will visit the main attractions and monuments of Casablanca, including Hassan II Mosque, before ending our tour in Marrakech.
